Anderlecht has around thirty football clubs and twenty martial arts clubs, but no triathlon clubs. Nor in the neighbouring communes of Molenbeek, Saint-Gilles and Forest. It was from this observation above all that the desire was born to create a triathlon club in Anderlecht, where the sporting facilities are nonetheless present: the Jesse Owens athletics track and the CERIA swimming pool (and on the outskirts, the hilly roads of charming Pajottenland). The club is based in Anderlecht but is open to the surrounding area.
